Huntington’s two founders are independent energy entrepreneurs who have approximately 50 years of experience in all aspects of the oil and gas business. Huntington leverages this expertise to acquire world class conventional oil and gas properties - the kind that any reserves report will dramatically understate over the long term.
Management often acquires small interests in fields such as these and then monitors and studies them, ranking them by potential. This leads to additional investment and from time to time the ability to take over operations and move management’s vision to fruition.
